This project has the potential to make the Kairo community cleaner, lead to less trash being burned and thus less air pollution, as well as less trash build up in the streets and thus reducing the spread of disease. This project positively affects the interest of locals.

The project depend on their adoption of the waste management program. If they don't believe in this project, it can not be implemented. The individuals living in Kairo have extremely high influence.

The individuals in Kairo who would be hired for the waste management program are a big part of our plan. Their interests include personal wealth, job security, and cleanliness of the village.

Sarah is very influential in the early stages of this project as the method of communication with people living in Kairo. It is unlikely students will be able to afford to go to Kairo for some time, but it is extremely important to be up to date on the opinions locals have on our project as well as issues they have in their community.

Zanzibar Government
The Zanzibar government controls the Zanzibar Municipal Council which deals with approximately 30% of trash created on the island. The government's interests include the wellbeing of the community and the economic success of the island.

This project could improve the wellbeing and economic success of Kairo village, but the government has a lot of other things to focus on. The project would be mildly important for the government.
